Last night I came in 29th position at the WBCOOP main event. I won another 215$ SCOOP ticket, which was more than I hoped for - my goal was 55$ ticket. Anyway, it's a bitter sweat kind of feeling. I had great cards, many pocket pairs, four times AA (which held all four times), two KK, one, QQ, couple of AK , etc, but overall I played badly. Made many lose calls when I knew I should have folded. Played some speculative cards from an early position, made a few desperate moves, which could only be qualified as tilting, even though I had plenty of chips to stick around and wait for better spots. I honestly believe that if I played the game like the night before I could have reached the final table and be a contender for the overall winner prize and ending the Championship with some 6-10000$ worth of prizes. This way I won something over 1,000$ in prizes, which is much more than I hoped for. Also, I played in four events, and can't imagine what would have happened if I played them all... maybe I could have won extra few points and still have a chance to win overall title and 5,000$ live events package. This way, if my calculations are correct I'm 3rd overall.
In general, it's been a great ride and WBCOOP will be the event to remember.

WBCOOP one hand I'm proud of
Ok, so I was on the Bubble (two players before the ITM). I had an average stack. I was a small blind. The button was a bully with a large chip stack. He raised i had A8o and called a minraise.
The flop came 2 K 4 i checked and the BB bets half the pot and I know he's bluffing, cause he's been betting alot at the bubble trying to push ppl out of the pot, stealing the blinds and so on... so I raise - i'm pretty sure he's got air, but he calls. At this point i have about one third of the original stack remaining and thinking, if he had a K he would have pushed (maybe he can have 2 or a 4). The turn comes an 8 (I hit a pair). There are two hearts and two clubs on the board. I check again and he pushes all in. I think for a moment, close my eyes and call what turns out to be the bluff. The river comes a deuce and he shows 57s. I win and more than double - after
that hand I emerged as a big stack and never looked back...
Cheers

Tickets and how to cash them
Well, after I checked last year's winners of the WBCOOP I found out that just few of them managed to cash in the tournaments they had tickets for. I have 5 tickets and still a Main Event to play - hopefully that's where I'll get one more ticket - at least one 55$ SCOOP. With these, I hope to get into money once - come out with some 500$ from this whole affair would be spectacular push to my 150$ (something) bankroll. I don't intent to use these tickets before March (those that I won for Sunday Million). Anyway - it's a great thing for me, I'll be freerolling this spring with the high rollers thanks to PSTARS, probably get eaten alive, but who cares - not my money anyway.
One more thing - Staff of the Pokerstars are just terrific! I mean customer support - These women and men really go a long way to help you with any kind of problems. And they are so prompt. No wonder this site is No.1!

fifty 50 games at PStars
Played maybe fifteen of them, got into money in 13- that really was something! Waiting for WBCOOP 8 games mix... very nice prizes there, tickets for SCOOP (could use a few).
Since no one actually reads this, and I don't blame ppl, (also, I'm to lazy to try to connect or share this blog), I'll stick with it as a personal poker diary.
P.S. Watched that Water Boat (online poker comedian i guess) dude on Youtube - hilarious. Especially that story about his Swedish student who tried to master the art of tilting and eventually died from AIDS...

WBCOOP Preliminary
Played my first game at WBCOOP - NLH, first few hands and I got busted - I was a small blind and played HU aganst bb - folded to me - I was holding A9 made a small raise, got called and the flop was AAT i checked, so did the opponent, turn came 9 (dream card) I check and the opponent bets i just call, the river came Q and I check again, hoping BB has at least an Ace or has made a strait - he bets about one third of the pot, i raise the pot he reraises me all in I call - my trap worked! - turns out he had AT - got busted. Still can't believe it... well, better luck next time, hopefully...

To start off with a bad beat story
To start a blogg with a bad beat session from yesterday (that's when I wrote it on PSO blogg - today seems much better). The hands are in order as they come - one all in after another...
AA vs KK vs TT 1.10$ MTT shorthanded lost to T .... (beggining of the tourny)
AK vs QT 1.1$ sattelite to sunday 1/4 mill bubble if i win i get 11$ seat - lost - won 1$
KK run into AA and lost 1.40$ sng bounty - remained in the game as a shortstack was in top five before
A4 vs KJ all four same suit - lost again same opponent same tourny as previous short stack and desperate
AJs vs AQs shortstack 1.10$ sng lost
JJ vs 55 1.40$ sng bounty - lost remained in the game from the leader to the middle stack
QK vs A5 same tourny - short stacked and lost to the leader
A5s VS KJs 1.20 sng lost shortstack near the bubble
A4 vs 88 opponent shortstack lost 1/4 of my stack 1.40$ bounty sng
88 vs AJ same tourny ITM lost shortstack one away from the final table
TT vs Aks 1.40$ bounty sng lost ITM (first all in in the whole of the 3hour tourny - folded QQ preflop earlier on the bubble against the push by the chip leader- I would never have done this otherwise, but I was terrified that even if I had Aces I would lose)
AKs vs AQo Final table same tourny - lost and got busted
... and, first all in preflop I actually won AA vs JJ....
Some mistakes about the tourny facts could exist but they are unintentional, otherwise this is truly as they come...
Playing the final table 6 out of 9 remaining, and as I wrote this lost to the shortstack all in with A5s agaist my J10os - final update AQ vs opponents AT all in - lost, finish 8th position.
Gonna watch the movie, some old horror with my favorite supporting actor Miguel Ferrer.
Lost 8$ in today's session, such a downfall from yesterday's 36$ winning session...
Good news, I just got my vpp bonus 10$... still a bitter taste... I played much better today than yesterday, but yesterday everything seemed to fall in to place - although I played really bad on manny occasions. If I played like today, I would have won ALOT more money. - missed just two value bets where I could have won more from the opponent, one succesfull bluff against me that I know of, pulled of three out of three big pot bluffs... Made mistake only twice that I can think of - called with KK post flop whith the A on board against two opponents, knowing one certainly has an Ace... Didn't lose much, but still...the other situation I made a mistake Im aware of is when I went all in from UTG+2 with A9 (15BB remmaining) just as I lost another showdown - was on tilt, but fortunately no one called and I collected the blinds and antes (not nearly enough to justify my push)
If I play any more games, I think I'm gonna be tilting and playing badly... (maybe FLH tourny - i dunno, at least no all in there)
Those who read, thanks, those who find it annoying, I can understand that... Know one thing, somedays are just better to stay off the poker....
Cheers...
P.S. To those conspiracy theory online poker is rigged people - if this happened live i would start to question the integrity of the establishment- especially if it was a home game I'm new to. This way I know, it was simply the case of bad luck and nothing more... Still, love the way I played and handle myself during the bad beat...
